[edit] GMF 1.2.0
The major feature in this version is the new presentation layer, based on XSL templates, that makes it easier to customize the look and feel of the web pages. As usual, there are also improvements in the itil resources, specially in the incident and change modules.
The short changelog for this version is:
- Use new Java5 features. - Removed redundant rid columns for multivalue parameters from resource's tables. - Formatters layer (a new paradigm for building the html, all based in XSL/XML files, no more HTML code in the code). - Fulllog (complete transaction log of changes in resources) - Update the used libraries: ehcache, jasperreports, lucene, etc. - Complete implementation of the ParameterSourceLDAP - Use the generic LDAPGroup and LDAPUsers resources to allow the creation/edition of system users and groups - Removed the old out-of-tree user/group admin resources - Upgrade the integration of Winventory to current version of OpenAudit - Presentation improvements based on the new formatters - Work orders moved inside the changes. Until now, they were created in a separate container. - Improve the available reports - Integration with Liferay 4.2 in portlet mode - Use AJAX concepts to improve user experience in some form reloads - Everything should work fine with Firefox, IE6/IE7 and Konqueror - Bugfixes
